Lynnewood Hall is a Neoclassical estate that is currently the fifteenth largest home in America. Situated in Elkins Park, PA, renowned Gilded Age architect Horace Trumbauer created some of the largest, most elaborate, and most important buildings ever made. Lynnewood Hall is one of them. At the time of making this, Lynnewood Hall was a deeply endangered property, since then Lynnewood Hall is not being restored by the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation. “Gilded Philadelphia” is a publication design of my own experience in discovering Lynnewood and understanding its history, depth, and meaning.
